M. Joy, has practiced natural medicine since 1999. She is a Clinical Manual therapist, Holistic Health Practitioner, Ayurvedic Practitioner, Functional Nutrition Consultant, Ordained Minister, and Advanced Yoga practitioner, and skilled teacher. M.Joy specializes in Women’s Natural Health and wellbeing, Athletes, Microbiome, Detox, Spiritual growth, and is skilled in challenging cases.
Facilitated Manitou Yoga Community yoga program for 15 years building community. Worked with the Colorado Rockies and Colorado Sky Sox Baseball team from 2001-2011 as their Clinical Manual therapist alongside trainers and baseball professionals.
She has taught anatomy physiology and technique at Colorado Massage School, and at Blue Heron Academy of Healing Arts and Sciences in Grand Rapids Michigan She studied with Datis Kharrazian receiving certificates from Apex Energetics via Berkeley California in; Functional Blood Chemistry, Functional Endocrinology, and Functional Neurology. She studied specialized homeopathy techniques with Dr. Sherri Tenpenny
She is certified in Flower Essence therapy with the late, Dr. William Kneebone. She is Certified in Contact Reflex Analysis through Dr. Dick Versendaall. As well as many other healing modalities including; Journey Visualization, Applied Kinesiology, Meditation, and has taught and trained Yoga practitioners in the US and Europe.
She is an ordained Minister of 20 years, who has a deep spiritual connection to God and practices from a place of service. She has been a guest speaker for self help programs and seminars, and has developed a deep meditation, prayer, and spiritual practices that she shares with groups and individuals. M. Joy teaches on subjects including; “Self Love and Transformation”, “The Joy of Relationship”, and “Discovering the Woman you were designed to be”. “Finding your way through the storm”, “Raising your inner child.”
Joy continually develops new ways to cultivate, learn, and renew her practice to serve. When she is not in her practice she enjoys outdoor activities, coffee roasting, and is a skilled wholefood chef. She enjoys many forms of Dance, and playing her guitar. She is a Colorado girl from Michigan who loves to camp and adventure. She loves spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is involved in community projects and often heads up community events. She is deeply devoted to her growth, and spiritual maturity.
